The Bremen Santa Parade has been rescheduled

BREMEN — The City of Bremen’s Santa Parade — originally scheduled for tonight — has been rescheduled to Monday night due to rain in the forecast.

The city is asking residents who live on a dead end street to come to a close intersection to see the parade as they will not be able to make it down and turn around.

Below are the estimated times the parade will reach each street and not every street is listed. The times are estimated based off neighborhoods.

The parade will leave from the Police Department at about 6 p.m.. From there the parade will head towards the Mcpherson street area to include the subdivisions of Meadow Creek and Lauren Heights. The rest of the schedule is below.

7 p.m. Pine Brook Subdivision area and Watson Drive
7:30 Gordon street area and Lakeview Drive area
7:50 Waddell St, Bryan St., Kensington and Sewell Road area, Tallapoosa St. and Hamilton Ave, Railroad tracks to Hwy 78, then to the South Buchanan area and Norman Circle
8:30 Hwy. 27 to Stonebridge, Music Mill, Windemere, South Buchanan to miller Academy and Summit Lane
9:15 Valley Run, Cherokee Rose area, Alabama Ave to Maple St. and Lawson Area.
9:30 Allen Memorial area, Laurel and Tennessee Ave, (Oak-Poplar, Chestnut, Florida Ave.)
10 p.m. Magnolia Subdivision area, Dylan way, South Georgia to Bentwater
10:15 Treetop Subdivision area
10:30 Burnt Hickory Area-Crosstown Pkwy., Whispering Hills-Sangamore-Greystone Subdivision

At 10:45 the parade will head back to Laurel to the Knollwood area and ending back at the Police Department.
