Norcross man dies in motorcycle crash

A Norcross man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Gwinnett County.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating the fatal crash that occurred Aug. 17 Police and fire personnel responded to the intersection of Rockbridge Road and Tug Drive just before 9 p.m. 

When officers arrived to the scene, they discovered that two men on a motorcycle collided with an Audi Q5 that police say turned in front of them. According to Police, 22-year-old Darwin Lazo, of Norcross, was the driver of the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second man on the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Audi was not injured. This is still an active investigation.
