Wills Park pool closed after staffer tests positive for COVID-19

ALPHARETTA — The Wills Park pool in Alpharetta has been shut down until further notice after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

According to city officials, the staff member did not have any contact with the public, but the city is taking several measures out of “an abundance of caution.”

All pool staff members will be quarantine or tested for coronavirus and the pool area will be intensely cleaned. City officials say they will re-open the pool when they are certain it is safe.

As of Monday, Fulton County had 18,224 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 1,761 hospitalizations and 398 people had died from the virus in the county.
