ATLANTA — A $10,000 reward is being offered for the men who shot and killed an 8-year-old girl in Atlanta over the weekend.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, Secoriea Turner was shot while sitting inside her parents’ vehicle by a group of black men. One of the shooters wore all black and was dressed like a bounty hunter, the other wore a white T-shirt.

Police say Secoriea’s parents attempted to drive through illegally placed barricades near 1238 Pryor Road when their vehicle was shot at. Secoriea was killed during the shooting.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms spoke out against the shooting and recent violence in the city.

“We are shooting each other up on our streets in this city, and you shot and killed a baby,” Bottoms said. “We are doing each other more harm than any police officer on this force.”

If you have any information about the shooters or the shooting, contact Detective J. Shepherd at 404-617-3012 or 404-577-TIPS.
