Police release name of victim in Dunwoody Village Apartment Homes homicide

DUNWOODY — Police in Dunwoody have released the name of the victim in the Wednesday homicide at Dunwoody Village Apartment Homes.

Police say the victim was 39-year-old Spencer Lavest Foster. Foster’s death has now officially been ruled a homicide and the investigation is underway.

At 6:43 p.m. Wednesday evening, the Dunwoody Police Department received a 9-1-1 call regarding a person possibly deceased inside an apartment at the Dunwoody Village Apartment Homes. Officers arrived and found Foster dead at the scene.
