MACON — A macon mother died of a gunshot wound Sunday morning. She was discovered unresponsive in her bed by her 11-year-old son.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death that was reported on Radio Drive at about 6:30 a.m.
When deputies arrived on scene they found a female victim in bed suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced dead on scene. According to the sheriff’s iffice, the victim’s 11-year-old son found her unresponsive in her bed.
