WARNER ROBINS — A Warner Robins woman was shot in the chest Friday night during a dispute with an acquaintance.
According to the Warner Robins Poiice Department, officers were dispatched to an apartment on Leisure Lake
Drive in reference to someone being shot.
When officers arrived, a woman was found with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was transported to Navicent Health, and her injuries are not life threatening.
Police say preliminary investigation suggests that the woman who was shot came to the home of an acquaintance to confront her about a continuing dispute between the two. There was an argument and a physical confrontation that resulted in the woman who initiated the confrontation at the apartment being shot.
