34-year-old man shot in the face in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS — Police are investigating the shooting of a 34-year-old man in Warner Robins that ocurred Saturday at about 2:30 a.m.

Police officers caught up with the man after the shooting at the Houston Medical Center where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the face. The man advised officers the incident occurred on Cox Drive. 

Officers found the victim’s vehicle at Cox Drive and North Avenue where he abandoned it after being shot.

According to police, the victim attempted to seek help in the area and was picked up by a passerby and driven to the hospital. The victim has since been transported to Navicent in Macon with a non-life threatening injury.
