In the midst of the uncertainty and despair caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Georgia’s faithful are heading to the frontlines of the battle to offer prayers and support to those in the hospital and to doctors and medical staff.
Groups from several congregations are organizing and parking outside of hospitals to sit in their cars, play worship music, and pray for those afflicted with COVID-19 and those who are helping them medically.
Videos of the outpouring of support at three local hospitals, Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton and Cartersville Medical Center have been posted on social media.
