Comcast Xfinity is making WiFi hotspots free for 60 days during the coronavirus pandemic

Comcast is opening up its network of WiFi hotspots for the next 60 days due to the coronavirus. The hotspots will be available free to everyone, even if they are not a Comcast Xfinity customer.

Comcast officials have announced several steps the company has taken to implement new policies for the next 60 days to help ensure people stay connected to the Internet during COVID-19 (coronavirus) closures. One of those steps includes free Xfinity WiFi.

Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free.

For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser.
