Georgia family comes home to find burglars in their house

A Lamar County family came home to a disturbing sight this morning when they saw a vehicle they didn’t recognize and three men leaving their house.

According to the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department, just after 10 a.m. Thursday, deputies were dispatched to an address on Etheridge Mill Road in reference to a burglary.

The homeowners arrived home and saw a black color vehicle in the yard. They also noticed their back door had been shattered. They saw three black men exit the residence and flee. One of the men left in the vehicle and the two other men fled on foot.

Captain Chris Webster found the vehicle and arrested the driver on Georgia Hwy 7/341. The driver was identified as Relinzlebruen Carter age 32, from McDonough.

The two men who fled were arrested about 3 hours later, just off of McLean Road. They were identified as Artavius Sturm and Enrique Carter both from Henry County. The investigation is still ongoing and charges are pending.
