Georgia man breaks into restaurant on Christmas Day, prepares a meal and takes a nap

LAWRENCEVILLE — On Christmas Day a man entered a Taco Bell through the drive-thru window, made himself a meal and then took a nap on the restaurant floor after eating. Just before leaving, the man stole a laptop and a tablet. The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying the man.

According to the Gwinnett County Police Dept., at about 12:15 a.m. Dec. 25, a man approached the Taco Bell at 4880 Sugarloaf Parkway in unincorporated Lawrenceville and entered through the drive-thru window. 

After he enters, he is seen on surveillance using the fryers to make himself a meal and then ate it. Following that, he can be seen taking a nap on the restaurant floor. Prior to leaving about three hours later, the suspect stole a laptop and tablet. 

Police say the suspect is a black man who was wearing black sweat pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black sneakers.
