MCDUFFIE COUNTY — The McDuffie County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man who used a blue light on his dash to pull a motorist over last week.

According to the Sheriff’s department, a man in a dark colored vehicle with a blue light on the dash pulled a motorist over and had a verbal interaction with the motorist before letting them go.

The man is described as a white man with a dark complexion, wearing all black and some sort of shiny nametag on his shirt.

The incident ocurred in the vicinity of Mesena and Union Church Roads in McDuffie County at 2 a.m. Dec. 10.

The Sheriff’s Dept. is reminding residents that if they do not feel safe when pulled over by another vehicle to slow down and activate emergency flashers, call 911 to let them know what is happening and pull over at a location where you feel safe.
