LILBURN — Gwinnett County Police are currently investigating a homicide on Barnaby Ct. in unincorporated Lilburn.
Shortly before 3 a.m. patrol units responded to a report of a person shot at 5483 Barnaby Ct. When they arrived they found a 30 year old Hispanic male with gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services transported the victim to a local hospital where the victim died.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
According to the Gwinnett County Police Dept, the victim does not reside at the address and was visiting friends/family for Thanksgiving. Suspect information is unknown at this time, but detectives do not believe this crime to be random.
