Update: Mildred Ashe was located Saturday evening in Alabama. Police say she is safe and does not appear to be harmed in any way. Arrangements are being made to reunite her with her family. The original story is below.

NORCROSS — On November 22, family members of Mildred Ashe contacted the Gwinnett County Police Department to report her missing.

Family members had not heard from Mildred all day and when officers responded to the residence they discovered that Mildred was not home and her car was missing from the driveway.

This type of behavior is extremely unusual for Mildred and her family is concerned because she has a medical condition which requires to her to have constant access to medical help.

At this time, there is no foul play suspected in Mildred’s disappearance.  It’s important that she is located so that her health and safety can be verified.

Mildred is an 80 year old female that stands approximately 5’05 and weighs 154 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a wig that was possibly brown or amber in color.  She drives a blue 2009 Honda Accord with an unknown license plate.

“Mildred was last seen on the 800 block of Heritage Valley Road in Norcross.  We believe she still has access to a vehicle and my be operating it,” said Gwinett County Police Dept. spokesman Collin Flynn.

If any contact is made with Mildred, please contact the police department immediately.
