Police: Savannah man wanted in shooting of his wife

SAVANNAH — Two people were shot Thursday evening and police are looking for the husband of one of the victims in connection with the crime.

According to the Savannah Police Dept., officers responded to a shooting on Greenwood Street at 11 p.m. on October 3. At the scene, officers located 29-year-old Shanese Manigo and 33-year-old Christopher Sullivan-Stokes who both sustained gunshot wounds.They were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Detectives were able to quickly identify Shanese Manigo’s husband, 33-year-old Timothy Terran Manigo as the suspect in this case.

Police describe Manigo as a black male, standing 6’4” and weighing about 150 pounds. He is known to frequent the 2500 block of New York Avenue.
