SUGAR HILL – A robber in Sugar Hill was seen on video trying to take a coffee break while burglarizing a business Monday night.

While the burglar was successful in stealing computer equipment, he was unable to brew the coffee.

According to the Gwinnett County Police, between the hours of midnight and 3 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, a man was captured on surveillance video burglarizing a series of businesses on Bailey Avenue in Sugar Hill.

The suspect spent several hours stealing computer equipment, televisions, sports memorabilia, and food.

During his time inside one of the businesses, he tried — and failed — to use the coffee machine. He eventually stole several of the coffee pods instead.
