A Georgia woman's wallet was stolen while she was shopping. The next day, her house was broken into

LAWRENCEVILLE — A Woman’s wallet was stolen while she shopped and later her house was broken into. Police are now asking for the public’s help finding the man they believe is responsible for both crimes.

On August 10, the victim was shopping at Sugarloaf Mills Mall. She walked away from her purse momentarily and her wallet was stolen. It contained items with her address listed and a spare key. 

Police say on August 11, the victim was at home and heard a noise in her garage/office area. When she went to investigate, she was struck in the head with a blunt object by an unknown person. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

According to police, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, dark baseball hat, and a large chain necklace.
