The Gist: Air quality on Monday is expected to be at dangerous levels for some residents. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has issued a Code Orange air quality alert.

What is Code Orange?: Code Orange means the air quality is considered unhealthy to children, people who are sensitive to ozone and people with heart or lung disease.

When is it dangerous?: The air quality will be poor all day, but ozone levels are at their highest in the late afternoon and early evening. Those who are in the sensitive groups listed above should avoid prolonged periods of time outdoors.
