Police search for suspect in pedestrian hit and run incident

The Gwinnett County Police Department needs your help in identifying the suspect in a pedestrian hit and run accident. On Wednesday, Jan. 16, officers were dispatched to a call at about 6 a.m.

According to the initial investigation at the scene, 32-year-old Nathan Hayes, of Lawrenceville, was crossing North Brown Road in the crosswalk when he was hit by a white SUV who was making a left-turn.  The SUV may be a larger model like a Yukon, Tahoe, or 4Runner. There may be damage to the front of the vehicle. 

Hayes was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
