Man shoots wife in front of daughter: The tragic story of a man who walked into a nail salon and shot his ex-wife execution-style in front of her daughter in Duluth also made the list of top stories this week. The man was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and later died at the hospital.
Georgia elementary school student becomes a celebrity: People love to read about local celebrities, especially when that celebrity is a child. A 7-year-old from Evans, Georgia made headlines after an appearance on the Ellen show. Roman McConn has a heart for animals and was on the popular daytime show for his efforts at rescuing animals.
Six Flags is having a job fair: News about Six Flags always draws attention, particularly in metro Atlanta. Several news websites reported on Six Flags’ newest call for jobs, and many of those sites also listed the story among their most read.
