Below freezing temperatures prompt city of Atlanta to open a warming center

The city of Atlanta is responding to tonight’s expected cold snap by opening a warming center.

Temperatures are expected to reach a low of 24 degrees tonight.

The city will open an emergency warming center Tuesday night at 6 p.m The warming center will be at the Old Adamsville Recreation Center at 3404 Delmar Lane. Men, women and children are welcome.
