Police search for clues in Brunswick Zone bowling alley shooting death

The Lilburn Police Department is actively working a homicide that occurred July 29 at the Brunswick Zone bowling alley at 3835 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn.

Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the parking lot of the business at 11:14 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in the parking lot suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the responding officer’s efforts at medical intervention, the victim was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel.

Police have identified the victim as 20-year-old Rahmier Gardner of Snellville. The investigation has determined Gardner was bowling with a group of friends when he stepped outside for an unknown reason.

The Lilburn Police Department is requesting assistance from anyone who has any information about the victim or who was present at the bowling alley or in the area Sunday night.
