Former Fort Valley Police officer arrested

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Friday former Fort Valley Police Officer Vetrimyer “Vet” Miller, a 45-years-old from Warner Robins.

Miller has been charged with Unlawful Possession of Identification Documents stemming from an incident last July.

According to the GBI, while Miller was detached to the Peach County Drug Unit, he allegedly used his official position as a police officer to obtain motor vehicle registration information on a person who was not under criminal investigation.

Miller voluntarily turned himself in to the Peach County Sheriff’s Office and was released on his own recognizance after the arrest booking process was completed.
