The Sumter County Board of Commissioners is considering abandoning and closing the portion of Renecker Road Extension from the end of pavement on the Hwy 19 end to Renecker Road which is about 1,850 feet or .35 miles.
A public hearing regarding the proposed abandonment and closing will be held Tuesday, June 12, at 6:05 p.m. at the Sumter County Courthouse at 500 West Lamar Street in Americus.
If you wish to speak in favor of or opposed to the proposed abandonment and closure, you may do so at the hearing.
