A grand jury indicted a Macon woman Tuesday on four counts of cruelty to children.
According to court documents, 39-year-old Latonya Demetria Stephens caused a traumatic brain injury to the child along with broken ribs and burns to the skin. She is also accused of depriving the child of food.
The incident took place Sept. 1 of last year. Now that the grand jury has indicted Stephens, the case will move to trial.
